Recipo Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 6, 2026

Summary

Recipo is an iPhone photo editing app. Core photo editing runs on device. Recipo does not require account creation for the core editing flow.

Photos and Camera

Recipo accesses photos only when you choose a photo to edit. Recipo saves edited photos to your photo library only when you choose export.

Recipo uses the camera only when you open the live camera simulation feature. Captured photos are used for editing inside the app.

Data We Do Not Collect in the MVP Build

  • Raw photo files
  • Photo filenames
  • Precise location
  • Contacts
  • Account credentials
  • Cross-app tracking identifiers

Usage and Diagnostics Data

Recipo may use limited app events and diagnostics to understand whether core flows work correctly, such as app open, photo import, preview render, before/after compare, export success or failure, purchase screen display, and restore action results.

These events are designed not to include raw photo files, photo filenames, precise location, contacts, or account credentials. Diagnostic data is used to improve app reliability, privacy review, and release quality.

Local App Data

Recipo may store local app preferences and editing state on your device, such as whether feedback was submitted, entitlement cache state, or cached creator pack metadata.

Purchases

If paid digital products are offered, purchases are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple may process purchase-related information according to Apple's policies. Recipo may keep local entitlement state so the app can understand whether a supported purchase should be available on the device.
